Statement
PeePs is a young contemporary artist, born into an artistic family and raised in a creative environment that deeply shaped his visual sensitivity.
From an early age, he worked alongside his father, learning techniques and developing a personal perspective through a predominantly self-taught path.
His pictorial research revolves around the concept of the urban totem: suspended, frontal human figures that represent the contemporary individual immersed in the city.
His presences, motionless yet intense, embody identities frozen within the flow of modernity.
These figures do not express passivity, but resistance. Like true totems, they observe, preserve, and absorb urban energy, transforming it into color, light, and formal structure.
The use of bright tones, luminous surfaces, and essential forms gives the works an immediate and recognizable visual strength.
PeePs’s work unfolds as a reflection on the individual in contemporary society, where “remaining” becomes an act of affirmation and stability within the constant movement of the urban world.
Since 2022, PeePs has been regularly participating in the major Italian art fairs.
His works have been exhibited at the San Gregorio Art Gallery in Venice and continue to be presented through his collaboration with the MFF Galerie in Paris, confirming his active presence on the international art scene.
